- Guide students through the world of political jargon and campaign tactics to encourage students to interpret persuasive language to become informed and engaged citizens.
- Examine and create various forms of news media coverage relating to the election, including print and television.
- Explore how public opinion polls and social media influence the campaign, and see how these are reflected in the final election result.
