Free resources for classroom teachers
This is our special place – just for teachers – where you can download additional classroom resources for FREE!
We aim to support WA teachers by offering a range of resources that will support your student’s learning, or capture their interests.
You’ll find a range of resources here, from those that help you explore any of our ‘hot topics’ in depth, to ideas for quick classroom activities. You’ll also find some tips for recycling, facts and figures, and videos.
You may need to sign in to access many of these resources – it won’t cost you anything and we’ll be able to let you know when we develop new resources.
Make the most of your ED! subscription by downloading our free activities each week to support the feature topic and News flash column.
Activity links will activate the day before publication.
From climate change and science, to technology and current issues in the news, kidsQs is an interactive podcast for curious young minds. Each week our co-hosts, Kate and Dylan, will ask an expert for the answers to your burning questions.
A new podcast will be uploaded every Tuesday during school term. Click here
Want to get your class on air?
We’re looking for Year 3-8 classes who have a great topic idea and will come up with awesome questions that we can ask an expert to answer. Click here for more information.
Climate change, terrorism, refugees, drugs, crime…
There are a range of topics that often appear in the news. Some of these topics can be complex, so Media Education will continually develop and add to a pool of resources to assist teachers with covering these with their students.
