Using the newspaper to develop literacy skills

Underdeveloped literacy skills can be a major barrier to students becoming successful learners in all subject areas, as well as communicating and participating effectively in society.
In this interactive workshop we will look at using the newspaper and Media Education resources in your classroom to motivate, engage and instruct low literacy and EAL/D students.
