PL – 2019 Federal election: Civics and Citizenships in the news

An election is coming! It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the democratic process, role of government, and how to be an active, responsible citizen. Are you ready?

In the lead up to the 2019 Federal Election, our news pages are rife with facts and opinions about the issues that need fixing – and with promises about how our decision makers plan to fix them. Join us for an interactive workshop and gain ideas for how to incorporate the latest election news and other current events into the teaching of Civics and Citizenship concepts, help kids become media literate and develop HASS inquiry skills.
