A special note for teachers

It is with regret that I must inform you that Media Education is temporarily suspending our services to schools, following the Premier’s recent announcement about schools in response to the COVI-19 pandemic.

For any teachers that have orders currently in place, we will be in contact with you individually regarding arrangements.

This decision has not come lightly, and we are disappointed to not be able to continue our normal support for teachers during this time.

However, the Media Education team will be moving to support ‘at home learning’. As a team of former classroom teachers ourselves, we believe we have a unique opportunity to support families, and also provide an avenue to support classroom teachers who may be developing ‘at home learning’ programs. It will be an expansion of the types of resources that you have already been using with Media Education, including ED! Magazine, serial stories and other materials to support student learning. More details regarding this will become available in the coming weeks.

We understand that classroom teachers and school support staff are responding to a rapidly changing world also, and just want you to know that appreciate the challenges you are facing.

Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to engaging with you further when we can restart our regular programs.

Take care and stay safe,

Brad
